Default What is more efficient?

What do you all think is more efficient - Rainwater or Greywater irrigation systems?

i think rainwater irrigation would be because it is making use of nature and u are not getting charged by using utilities

Greywater recycling is BY FAR an overall more efficient way if you are looking at using it for irrigation purposes!

Bill - this is true so long as you don't every wash dishes, do laundry, or bathe!

It's really a toss up but I'm gonna go with grey water b/c you are getting a second use out of the water you are allready paying for. (that concept alone get's me excited...

I agree with Bill8965, you could stop taking showers and Rainwater Harvesting would still work... although re-using your rain would probably be relitively low on your problem list at that point.. hahaha

Soaps with Borine in them will dry out and harm your plants. This is especially important to know and be aware of if you re planning on recycling greywater from the washing machine. Many if not most of the popular name brand soaps have Borine in them.
